Welcome to Coffinfolk Café
Death is hard to talk about.
That’s why we do it – with warmth, curiosity, a touch of imagination, and a dash of dark humour.
Coffinfolk Café is a low-threshold blog about death and everything that comes with it: grief, cultural heritage, difficult questions, and the kinds of conversations that often get stuck in your throat.
Through facts and fiction, we hope to make it a little easier to face the things that frighten, confuse, or hurt. Take your time. Our door is always open to you.
Each post offers facts and perspectives – followed by a short story told by Quinley, our café host, who explores the topic alongside her friend, mentor, and guide: Herrow – Death himself. Their stories unfold inside the cosy café, or somewhere else entirely – in another time, another place.
More to come!
